Keep Moving

    Tuesdays & Thursdays 1:30-2:30 PM

    This class can be an excellent way to maintain and increase your strength as your body ages. You can stand or Sit (or both), use free weights or no weights—builds muscle, strengthens balance, improves posture, improves bone density. Plus, it just feels good.

    Wednesdays 10-11 AM

    From a seated position you can enjoy the same type of stretching and flexing needed to improve balance and encourage blood flow. Everything is modifiable and taught by an experienced instructor.

    This will be a gentle yoga class, chairs are available if needed. All levels are welcome to join.

    Improves Muscle Tone, Enhances Flexibility, Eases Aches and Pains, Improves Balance, Builds Stronger Bones, Increases Concentration, Boosts Mood and Mental Stimulation

    The Class will include a variety of approaches to healthy living with a focus on enhancing our body's vitality. The basics of Qi Gong will be taught to cultivate internal energy, strengthen the immune system, increase healing, quiet the mind, and experience feeling centered and grounded. Qi is the vital essence within us that creates health, harmony, and well-being. The classes will help tap this internal energy source to rejuvenate the mind, invigorate the body, and enliven your spirit.

    Wednesday’s, 10-11 AM

    We will teach you how to play! If you can stand and toss a beanbag, you can play! No running involved.

    Tuesdays & Thursdays 3-3:45 PM

    Stretch and Tone is a

    low-impact, low-intensity

    workout that will tone your muscles, increase your range of motion and flexibility, and help you relieve stress. This class involves a mixture of Stretch, Yoga, and Pilates The Stretch, Tone, & Balance class is designed for all fitness levels and incorporates a full-body workout, targeted workouts for abs, legs, and arms, as well as a stretch routine.

    Activity Fee: $7 Members, $10 Guests

    Wear comfortable clothing and bring your own bottle of water, be ready to explore your inner self, and decompress daily pressures.

    Discussion, Knitting & Crocheting Projects, Sharing, & Learning

    This gifted group of yarn painters takes over our couches at the center and knits or crochets their way through their projects while spinning some vocal yarns together. This group shares their patterns, projects, and ideas as they create. This is free to Senior Center Members.

  • Fridays by Appointment 9 AM-1 PM

    Eleanor Gomez of Cloverdale Wellness is a long-time masseuse with a special touch. Over 30+ years of experience.

    Eleanor donates her time and skills to the senior center to raise funds.

    The Massages sessions are done from a seated position, and appointments are 20-minutes.

    Member appointments are given priority until the Thursday before the massages. Donations for this service are suggested at $20 for members.

    Non-member appointments are waitlisted until the Thursday before the massage appointments, and we ask for a $25 donation.

  • First Thursday of the Month By Appointment

    FREE Service

    This is a great service by a wonderful friend of our center. Jennifer will take your photo and really capture you at your best. Photos are taken at our center. See the activity calendar for dates. Usually the first Thursday of the month, please see the activity calendar for dates.

    Photos are given to you digitally, or additional arrangements with the photographer can be made.
